Magnolia
This Swiss CMS has already attracted a lot of international attention, as companies such as the New York Times and BMW rely on it. Compared to the competing CMS systems TYPO3 and WordPress, Magnolia is based on a hybrid approach consisting of a paid core CMS and a very reduced free version. Particularly noteworthy with this CMS is the very good multi-site and language setup management, as well as the API and the lean backend. However, there are annual licence fees and there is also only a very small developer community, which can be a disadvantage when problems arise. The CMS is particularly suitable for large companies that increasingly rely on a multi-site strategy.
