We are Digital. Soon You Will Be, Too!

Have you ever experienced this? You're in a conversation with your agency or another marketing environment and hear terms that sound to you as if they could also be used in space travel? Sounds great, but it's all double Dutch to you?

In our series "We are digital", we are happy to introduce to you relevant technical terms from the world of online marketing.

B2B-Marketing

Business to business marketing represents the business relationship between two companies. The main focus here is on the marketing activities with regard to the product or service that the respective company receives from the other.

Blog

A blog, or weblog, is a kind of online magazine that publishes articles at certain intervals and covering one or more specific topics. In addition to private blogs, which focus primarily on the author and his or her activities, theme blogs or company blogs (especially as a content marketing tool) are becoming increasingly important.

E-Commerce

E-commerce is the term used to describe trade that takes place online. This includes both B2B (business to business) and B2C (business to customer) relationships.

Lead

A lead is a qualified contact. When an interested party makes an enquiry, it becomes a lead and thus a potential customer.

Content-Marketing

Content marketing encompasses all activities that aim to provide a specific target group with specific added value through the generation of content, without having an advertising character.

Paid Media

In the course of paid media, companies pay advertisers a fee to utilise their channels and coverage.

Onpage-Optimisation

On-page optimisations are measures that contribute to the optimisation of the website and take place on the page itself. This includes, for example, the generation of high-quality content or the proper structuring of a page.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

SEO includes all measures aimed at improving organic visibility in search engine result lists.
