Corporate Brand Identity
Our client Deuring has been impressing with a new, radiant design since 2022, which we established in the course of the extensive branding relaunch. We gave the corporate identity a completely new and fresh look, starting from the logo to print media to the new website. The goal was to unite the company's comprehensive range of services in a modern and concise umbrella brand. In addition to its services as a tank and logistics company, Deuring also offers a great deal in the field of specialty chemicals. Due to the strong industrial background, we decided on a modern orientation for the logo, which, however, also incorporated the company's long tradition. To reflect this, we opted for a serif font for the year of foundation to reflect the historical background in the logo. We are thrilled with the new logo, which combines tradition and modernity!
Corporate Design
In addition to the general modernization of the brand, it is a particular concern for us to consider the different playout locations. Compared to back then, today there are dozens of output devices that require the logo in a specific format. Therefore, we built it dynamically to meet the different requirements. Thus, the logo is always placed with claim, unless there is not enough space for it. In this case we have the possibility to switch to the next variant without claim or to the hexagonal variant. This modified version also results in a new design element, which is extensively integrated into the CD.
To increase awareness of the logos, we used both logo variants for the business equipment. The frame of the hexagon also provides the appropriate scope to create a dynamic within the design. This allows us to give the dark green background a little more life without distracting too much from the logo. In addition, a clear image of the brand is drawn by the repeating familiar elements, which in turn significantly increases the recognition value.
Visual World
In addition to the general revision of the brand, we also created a new image concept for the company. Since photos are usually decisive for the design and the first impression, it was particularly important to us to depict them in a contemporary and consistent manner. Through this visual language, we are able to emotionalize and inspire the potential customer or applicant accordingly. The uniform image style is also an important component within the corporate brand identity, so that the customer gets a clear impression of the brand through the image language. If the uniform visual language is also used in advertising campaigns and the like, this supports recognition enormously.
After the image concept was finalized, our in-house photography team started with the implementation. In addition to the buildings, we also photographed moments within the daily operational inner workings in order to convey a transparent image of the company to the outside world.
Website Relaunch
After we had realigned the company's entire brand identity, the next step was to revise the website. Here we also pushed the uniform style of the new corporate design and therefore reused the familiar elements on the web. The new appearance shines through its modernity and the simple page structure, in which every user quickly finds his way around. The high reuse rate results in a coherent corporate design, which forms a clear brand core.
The content management system TYPO3 was used for the implementation of the site and offers Deuring the possibility to flexibly and individually change their content. The variety of their products are now made available to customers through a product finder. The career section of Deuring also offers a small company the opportunity to draw attention to the advantages of working near the border at Lake Constance.
